Oral Dose Study to Protect against Dengue Virus (CIR 332)

Summary

The purpose of this oral dose study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of repeated oral doses to protect against exposure to Dengue Virus.  The study (is):

  • 3 months long
  • enrolling 18-50 year olds (inclusive)
  • includes 2-3 screening visits, 2 two-night inpatient stays, 29 consecutive daily visits (including weekends) for oral dosing of medication
  • 1 dengue exposure (shot) visit
  • 8 follow up visits spread out over 2 months
  • pays up to $4125 for completion of all study procedures
