Dr. Kawsar Talaat inducted as the inaugural Clayton D. Harro Faculty Development Chair

The past year has been an exciting one for CIR faculty member Dr. Kawsar Talaat!  She was promoted to Assistant Professor in the JHSPH Department of International Health and will now be inducted as the Inaugural Clayton D. Harro Faculty Development Chair!  In 2014, Dr. Talaat graciously took over the work of CIR faculty member Dr. Clayton Harro after his untimely death.  Since then, she has continued his work in gastrointestinal disease vaccine development and her work in vaccine development for respiratory illnesses.  Dr. Talaat is an asset to the Center for Immunization Research and we are truly proud of her most recent accomplishments!
